Turnaround Leadership (TLP) is an articulation agreement between CSU Global and the Generation Schools Network (GSN). This partnership has been approved by the Colorado Department of Education. Eligible students will have completed a GSN Turnaround Leadership Certificate and are admitted into the Principal Licensure program(s) or the Master’s in Teaching and Learning – Education Leadership program offered at CSU Global.
Credit Transfer
- Participants in the GSN TLP may apply for admission in the Master of Science in Teaching and Learning-Principal Licensure Concentration program at CSU Global. This is a 39-credit hour graduate degree program of which the GSN TLP courses will articulate to credit for up to four courses (12-credit hours).
- Participants in the GSN TLP may also apply for admission in the Principal Licensure Concentration program at CSU-Global. This is a 24-credit hour graduate degree program of which the GSN TLP courses will articulate to credit for up to four courses (12-credit hours).
- Internship hours logged by the GSN TLP participants will count toward the required 300 hours in the Colorado Principal Licensure Program or the Colorado Principal License with a Master’s Degree. The school districts sponsoring each participant will need to provide assurance and documentation to the effect that the internship hours have been completed.
Tuition Discount
Participants in the GSN TLP program who have applied for admission to the Principal Licensure program(s) or the Master’s in Teaching and Learning – Education Leadership program with CSU Global and subsequently upload their GSN certificate transcript into their student portal will receive a 10% tuition discount with CSU Global and shall receive CSU Global’s tuition guarantee. This discount is first applied to the cost of tuition before scholarships and financial aid are applied.
External Scholarships and Financial Aid
Students admitted into the Principal Licensure program(s) or the Master’s in Teaching and Learning – Education Leadership program student should evaluate their individual benefits, inclusive of Scholarships and Tuition Assistance, which may cover as much as 100% of tuition depending on eligibility. We ask that students notify CSU Global of their benefits before registration for classes to ensure a billing structure is in place. Questions regarding eligibility should be directed to GSN or the student’s employer.
